Job Functions:

• Installing low voltage cabling in a new construction commercial environment
• Terminating phone jacks and dressing and terminating distribution frames (66 or 110 blocks, patch panels)
• Installing support structures (ladders, racks, j-hooks)

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with BICSI, EIA, TIA, or NEC Standards
• Experience with legacy cables a plus
• General experience running or bending conduit
• Rack and stack work, closet work, putting together server racks, patch panels
• Fiber experience including Anaerobic Terminations, SC and LC Connectors, and Splicing
• Ability to read and understand floor plans
• Customer interface and communication skills, both verbal and written, are highly desired.
• Willingness to work overtime as requested and non-standard hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be team player with ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with minimal oversight.
• Must be available to travel on short notice, non-standard hours, travel on weekends, and assist other field sites as required.
• Must be capable of lifting up to 49 pounds.
• Your own basic telecom tools including punch downs, snips, wire strippers, cordless drill, PPE (safety gear), etc.

MTG is searching for experienced Security Technicians.

Primary Requirements: 3+ years of expert experience in commercial Access Control, CCTV and Intrusion Detection Alarm Systems

Secondary Requirements: Structured Cabling, Emergency Call, Intercom and/or Audio Visual

Description

• Perform security installations that include Access Control, CCTV and Intrusion Detection Alarm Systems.
• Manage projects to deliver successful implementations by meeting project requirements and adhering to industry and company standards.
• Coordinate with Project Manager to ensure availability of materials and equipment.
• Interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications and schematics.
• Participate in on-site progress meetings and provide updates to account managers.
• Identify risks and provide specific solutions and recommendations to customers on most time and cost efficient methods.
• Demonstrate resourcefulness in assessing and troubleshooting of issues and problems.
• Inspect quality of finished projects to ensure conformation of all specifications and requirements.
• Program and test installed security systems and train customers as required.
• Continually learn new products, upgrades and software programs related to electronic security systems.
• Represent Matrix Technology in a professional manner at all times.
• Abide by OSHA regulations and use protective equipment as required.
• Operational texting, verification and acceptance.

Qualifications

• Installation and troubleshooting experience with CCTV (analog and IP based; Pelco, Axis, Honeywell), Access Control (S2, GE, Keyscan, Doorking) and Intrusion Detection (S2, GE, Honeywell, Ademco)
• Experience working in large enterprise commercial environment
• Knowledge in connector termination and relay configurations
• Knowledge in mechanical retrofitting of door frames and gates for electric strikes and magnetic locking devices; and peripheral devices (motion sensors, RTE, push buttons and contacts)
• Knowledge in programming and training onsite personnel in numerous Access Control, CCTV, and Intrusion Detection systems
• Knowledge and practical experience with Internet and Networking commercial systems
• Ability to manage and motivate teams with proven leadership experience
• Excellent interpersonal skills, good verbal and written communication
• Must be able to work independently or on a team
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and find effective solutions
• Familiar with industry standards for ADA and life safety codes.
• Must have clean driving and criminal records and successfully pass a drug test

MTG is searching for an experienced Audio Visual Technician.

The successful application should be familiar with current corporate audio visual standards and equipment. They will have knowledge of AV best practices, the ability exercise attention to detail and have a positive attitude in their job under pressure. It is expected that the successful candidate will be timely, conduct themselves in a professional manner both verbally and via written communication and be conscious of the quality of their work.

Experience:

• Must own, be able to use and operate all hand and power tools necessary for job completion. (Includes but not limited to, standard hand tools, soldering iron, power drill, multiple crimp tools) – Specialized tools shall be provided.
• Must be competent in reading, understanding and the marking up of AV/construction drawing sets
• Must be proficient in the use of AV related software programs and Microsoft Office suite of programs
• Must be able to exercise common sense, communicate effectively with co workers/clients alike and work independently to meet stringent time lines.
• Must be able to travel and able to pass any drug screening required

Tasks:

• Cable Pulling, cable termination, support installation for devices (displays, projectors, speakers), device configuration, systems testing, fault finding/resolution and preventative maintenance when necessary.

Requirements:

• CTS certification and/or manufacturer certified training (Crestron, Biamp, Extron etc).
• Experience in electronics.
• Basic understanding of IT/Networking
• Previous experience in a similar role: 2 years
• Fluency in Spanish preferred

Matrix Technology Group, LLC specializes in design and build of Telecommunications Network Infrastructure, Audio Visual and Security systems.

We are looking for a part-time employee specializing in system designs, with experience producing construction documentation utilizing Revit and AutoCAD MEP. Should be proficient in creating design and construction documentation. In line with this, responsibilities will include:

• direct production work
• coordinating with the in-house engineering and in-house estimating teams
• Assist engineers in preparing design documents for Audio Visual, Telecommunications and Security systems.
• Prepare AutoCAD drawings and Revit Models
• Assist Design & Engineering with design calculations, sizing of systems
• Assist Design & Engineering with field investigations, reports, construction site visits and punch-lists

Qualifications include but are not limited to the following:

• Proficiency in Computer Aided Design AutoCAD and/or experience in Revit
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and Word
• Testable knowledge of technology systems and symbols as it applies to building and industrial sites

We are looking for a full-time employee specializing in Revit/BIM Design for Technology design. Candidate should be proficient in creating design and construction documentation.

Responsibilities will include design/drawing production, coordinating with Clients, Designers, Architects and Project Managers, in-house Project Management & Engineering teams.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Participate in coordination and clash detection correction sessions working with other contractors and architects
• Develop Revit families for general and project-specific needs
• Building or maintaining model families
• Work with other designers to build/manage model databases, templates and standard procedures
• Perform quality checks on modeling efforts of others to ensure tools to support engineering or project management

Qualifications include but are not limited to the following:

• year experience in developing BIM models for architectural construction
• year's experience in Computer Aided Design (primarily but not limited to electrical systems, technology & infrastructure)
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, AutoCAD MEP, Revit
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Excel and Word
